AN DUAL ANALYSIS ON THE TYPES OF AGRICULTURAL NATURAL RESOURCES AND FOODSTUFF PRODUCTION——TAKING FUJIAN PROVINCE AS A EXAMPLE

Getting foodstuff is an essential prerequisite for the human race to survive and develop while foodstuff comes mainly from agricultural natural resources. The deficit of grain in Fujian province is increasing year by year and other non-staple foodstuffs also give the signal of shortage in varying degrees. The lack of foodstuff suggests the lack of agricultural natural resources, which becomes increasingly serious along with the increase in population. In different parts of the province, the conditions of agricultural natural resources, as well as of foodstuff production, are quite varied. According to the internal relations between agricultural natural resources and foodstuff production, this paper sets up a mathematical model of the area division and the dual analysis on the agricultural natural resources and foodstuff production in the province by using certain mathematical methods and means of computer. The output of the model shows that there are seven kinds of complex types of agricultural natural resources and foodstuff production in the province. The different complex types reveal the objective variance on the disposition of both agricultural natural resources and foodstuff production in different regions. The results will be helpful to understanding the utilization rate of agricultural natural resources, as well as the potential productivity and the developing direction of foodstuff production in various areas. Finally, the paper analyses the general measures to the foodstuff production developing in the whole province according to the state of complex classification and especially analyses the limited resources of reserved land and the potential productivity of foodstuff production from the agricultural sustainable developing strategy point of view. Transferring agricultural labor force is extremely urgent. It's also very important strategically to develop export-oriented economy by making fuller use of ocean resources and taking advantage of its superior harbors and special location.
