The Urbanization Dynamic Mechanism and Policy of Northeast China Region under the Old Industrial Base Revitalization Background

There has been 10 years by 2013, since the Chinese government took the strategy of rejuvenating the old industrial base. This paper analyses the urbanization dynamical mechanism, summed up as polarization and diffusion of center city, policies and industrialization's promotion, center city space expansion driven by investment, new rural construction and urban and rural overall development. Then put forward policy recommendations under different paths, that is the city cluster development driven by regional central city, cultivating development pole in underdeveloped regions and border areas relying on the rapid transit network.
