The spatial decision- making process of enterprise migration is a complex system, which involves the interaction of enterprise, government, geographical environment and social economy. On account of the inadequacy of past research on firm relocation, this paper presents the research progress of spatial decision- making of enterprise migration at home and abroad, and then discusses the application of enterprise migration theory, industrial location theory, regional function theory, and complex system theory in the study of firm relocation. We construct an implementation tool to analyze the spatial decision- making process of enterprise migration, which is based on the integration of different spatial-making theories of firm relocation, computational simulations, agent-based modeling, and geographical information sciences. This will provide a new method for the study of enterprise migration, especially exploring the mechanism of spatial decision- making process. Additionally, it will enrich the application of simulation, such as geo-computation and spatial intelligence, in the study of economic geography and regional development.
