Granger Causality Relationship between Civil Aviation Transportation Growth and Regional Economic Development: A Case Study on Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport
基于1986-2009年和2004-2009年数据，检验广州GDP与白云机场业务量之间的协整与格兰杰因果关系，发现GDP促进机场发展，但机场对经济拉动作用有限，且新机场带动效应弱于旧机场。
Taking data of 1986-2009 and 2004-2009 as two sample series,this paper uses the approaches of co-integration theory to test the co-relationship between workload of Baiyun international airport and GDP of Guangzhou.Furthermore,it explores causality relationship between them by the method of Granger causality test.Results reveal that:(1) on the whole,GDP of Guangzhou stimulated the development of Baiyun international airport greatly,however,the workload of Baiyun international airport have not cause significant effect on the national economy of Guangzhou.(2) Compared with the old one,new Baiyun international airport has less driving effect on the development of Guangzhou GDP.
