The Spatial Differentiation Factors of Ethnic Traditional Villages in Guizhou

The spatial differentiation of traditional villages is enslaved to various factors from nature, economy and social culture. 292 Guizhou traditional villages are chosen as the research object. Using Arc GIS10.2 and Geo Da technology platforms, synthesizing a great variety of sources of information, the spatial differentiation of Guizhou traditional villages have been expounded, and spatial differentiation factors and their effects have been analyzed. These spatial differentiation factors are made up of natural factors such as landform, aspect and height above sea level, and humanistic factors such as ethnic composition, central city, population density, economic development. On this basis, several suggestions about Global, systematic protection of traditional villages have been proposed.
