International comparison of Chinese urbanization
本文通过国际比较，修正了关于城市化与经济发展、工业化关系的常见观点，发现中国城市化并未长期滞后，高城市化与工业化之比源于高投资率，并强调大城市的作用。
We decided the rule should be abided by when we do international comparison. Under this rule, we found some well-accepted opinions about the relation among urbanization, level of economic development and industrialization should be corrected. This paper demonstrated that Chinese urbanization lagged behind economic development not too long; the high ratio of urbanization to industrialization is coming from the long-kept high investment ration; the function of large city should be emphasized.
