COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT EVALUATION OF HONGKONG-MACAO-PEARL RIVER DELTA AND YANGTZE RIVER DELTA
使用垂直与水平综合指标体系，选取1997、2000和2002三个时间截面，比较分析了长三角和珠三角两大经济区的可持续发展状况与变化。
Using the perpendicular and level combined index system,selecting 3 time cross sections(as 1997,2000 and 2002),the paper evaluates and comparatively analyzes the sustainable development conditions and changes of the two big deltas(economic regions).From the overall measurement,the Yangtze River Delta remains weak leading to the HongKong-Macao-Pearl River Delta.The later(the HongKong-Macao-Pearl River Delta) has the slight advantages over the former(the Yangtze River Delta) at the level statement of the sustainable development,and particularly the later is more advanced at the level of economic development.The former is markedly better than the later in the coordination situation changes of sustainable development.The two deltas show unanimous strong growth in the support level and capacity of resources and environment,and in the development of science and technology capabilities.At the same time,the two deltas have shown negative growth in the capacity of the economic development.
