STUDY ON EVOLUTION OF SPATIAL STRUCTURE OF PEARL RIVER DELTA URBAN AGGLOMERATION AND ITS EFFECTS
研究了珠三角城市群从1980年代以来的空间结构演变，发现其呈现多中心模式，分析了该模式对城市化、制造业发展和产业升级的影响及利弊。
The Pearl River Delta Urban Agglomeration has developed very quickly from the 1980s.It has been important manufacture base and economic center in China in 10 or more years.This paper has indicated the spatial structure form of Pearl River Delta Urban Agglomeration through research on functional classic system,evolution of spatial structure.This spatial structure can be called the several-centers model.In this model,the main and secondary centers are improving the cluster cities.On that base,it has analyzed the contribute factors of this model and its effects on urbanization,development of manufacture and upgrade of industries.The several-centers model has some advantages on improvement of urbanization process,cities' scale control,promoting manufacture and releasing the urban problems.But it also has some disadvantages on environment protection and upgrade of industries,etc.
