Cities should develop in a scientific way: problems of the trends for current city development

The development of Chinese cities has got into a new stage, which brings changes and challenges. Urbanization, ecological city, living-suitable city, compact city, old city renovation are the hot topic. The author puts forward his suggestion about some problem of trends in the city development: urbanization does not mean getting huge, living-suitable city not for the rich only, compact city not for high-rise building, renovation not for reconstruction.
