IMPACT OF INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT ON NON-INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT
基于中国30个省份的面板数据，研究基础设施投资对非基础设施投资的影响，发现存在显著的挤入效应，但东西部地区效果相反。
Infrastructure plays an important role in the economic development.In this article,a panel data model is built with data of 30 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions,to probe into the impact of infrastructure investment on non-infrastructure investment.The end results show a significant effect of infrastructure investment on non-infrastructure investment.However,the crowd-in effect is different across regions,with west and east of China standing on the opposite ends of the spectrum.Finally,a conclusion is drown,that the government should enhance the efficiency of public expenditure,accelerate the reform in infrastructure management and increase infrastructure investment in west regions.
