EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS ON THE REGIONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND DEVELOPING ROUTE OF THE IMPORTS AND EXPORTS OF FOREIGN-FUNDED ENTERPRISES IN CHINA

Foreign-funded enterprises play an important role in the development of Chinese imports and exports, but current literature paid little attention to this effect and its evolving characteristics. Therefore, this paper empirically studies the evolving routes and characteristics of the imports and exports of Chinese foreign-funded enterprises. It concludes that Eastern China bears an increasing absolute advantage in the imports and exports of foreign-funded enterprises but the disadvantage of Central and Western China is still becoming serious. This phenomenon is called Matthew Effect.
