Measuring and Decomposing Energy Productivity of China's Industries under Carbon Emission Constraints
使用数据包络分析和双年 Malmquist-Luenberger 生产率指数,测度了2003-2010年中国37个行业在碳排放约束下的能源生产率,发现技术进步、资本与劳动替代能源以及产出结构变化是提升能源生产率的主要因素,而能源结构效应则阻碍其增长。
This paper applies data envelopment analysis and Biennial Malmquist- Luenberger productivity index to measure and decompose traditional energy productivity under carbon emission constraint with a sample of37 industries over the period 2003-2010.We find that;technical improvement,capital-energy substitution,labor- energy substitution and output structure change are the main factors that improve energy productivity,in which the contribution of output structure change is the largest and that of capital- energy substitution is the least;energy structure effect is the main factor that hinders energy productivity growth and the deterioration of technical efficiency change can inhibit energy productivity growth;energy productivity in light industry is generally higher than in heavy industry and the difference is mainly caused by structure effect.
