AN ANALYSIS TO THE SPATIAL DISPARITIES OF TALENT IN CHINA,1990—2002
利用GIS和回归分析等方法，研究1990—2002年中国人才的空间分布变化，发现人才向东南沿海集中，城市化与高等教育是主要驱动因素，且人才与城市化共同促进区域人均GDP增长。
This article examines the economic geography of talent,exploring the factors that attract talent and its effects on regional economics.Through using GIS,Bivariate Regression,Multivariate analysis and Path analysis,some findings have been got.The economics geography of talent has changed drastically during 1990—2002.People with high degrees are concentrating to the southeast coastal regions,instead of the north part of the country.Urbanization and higher education capability are the main factors of this change.Further more,talent is associated with salary level and the states and regional policies.Urbanization and talent are strongly associated with region GDP per capita.They work independently and together to improve regional GDP per capita.Education has indirect effect on regional economics through talent.
