ON THE GAP OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BETWEEN NORTH AND SOUTH JIANGSU AND THEIR COORDINATION——ALSO ON A COMPARISON BETWEEN NORTH JIANGSU AND SOUTH JIANGSU AND OTHER RELATION REGIONS
基于统计数据，动态比较苏北与苏南的经济发展差距，并对比苏北与鲁南、苏南与苏北、东中西部的发展情况，分析原因并提出协调建议。
As a developed province of coastal areas in China, there have been the outstanding regional gap of economic development and a series of problems all through the ages in Jiangsu province. Based on the analysis of statistical data, the economic development gap between North Jiangsu and South Jiangsu are compared from the dynamic point of view. At the same time, the e-conomic development situation of North Jiangsu and South Shandong, North and South Jiangsu and East and West China are also done respectively. The following important conclusions are summarized in the paper: (1) The economic development gap between North Jiangsu and South Jiangsu have been broaden rapidly in recently more than 20 years; (2) Compared with South Shandong, North Jiangsu is higher in economic development level, but it is less in economic growth rate; (3) Compared with East and West China, North and South Jiangsu have a greater gap of economic development. In addition, the causes of relative phenomena are analyzed objectively and historically, and the proposals of economic development coordination of North and South Jiangsu are put forward.
