比较了九寨沟、庐山和周庄三个不同旅游目的地的居民对旅游影响的感知与态度,发现居民的地方依恋和对积极影响的感知是支持旅游发展的稳定重要因素。
While the sustainable development of destination depends upon attractions and services,it requires the hospitality of local residents. The majority of resident perception and attitude research has focused on a single host community or small numbers of neighboring areas. However, the comparative study among different destinations has been neglect. This study extends previous studies—through its comparative analysis of three case studies of residents’ perceptions of tourism.Jiuzhaigou,Lushan and Zhouzhuang are three destinations with different location, different traffic condition, and different origin market, different manage mode and different development process.Based on interview data in the above three destinations, resident’s perception and attitude are compared through ANONA,factor analysis and stepwise regression analysis.Residents in Jiuzhaigou are friendlier to tourists, generally more supportive of the tourism industry and have more positive perceptions of tourism impacts when compared to the other two cases.Residents in Zhouzhuang have fewer perceptions both of economic benefits and of costs, but perceive stronger to social cultural and environmental influence in comparison to Jiuzhaigou and Lushan.Stepwise regression equations in three cases suggest that residents’ place attachment and their perception of positive impact are stable and important factors to the support for the tourism development. The results can be interpreted in the context of a number of theoretical models including Butler’s(1980) Tourism Area Life Cycle and Social Exchange Theory.Residents’ perception and attitude of tourism impacts may be used as indicators of destination sustainable development. Therefore, more attention should be paid to the general comparative research on destination residents’ perception and their attitude.Evaluation system of destination management should be set up based on local residents’ perception and their attitude.
