A COMPARISON OF INEQUALITY IN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES OF CHINA'S CITIES
基于中国城市统计年鉴数据，分析了地级以上城市的人均教育经费、教育经费占GDP比重和师生比的不平等状况，发现经济发展水平是主要影响因素，并提出了促进欠发达城市经济发展和建立合理人口流动机制的建议。
Based on the latest data from China City Statistical Yearbook,this article analyze the inequality of per capita education funds,education funds accounted for the proportion of GDP,and the student-teacher ratio of cities at prefecture level or above in China.On the base of formation causes of these inequalities,some advices are put forward.Which concludes: At present,the inequality of per capita education funds is great,the gap of the the student-teacher ratio is bigger in the stage of higher education,but it is lesser in the stage of basic education.The level of urban economic development is the major impact factor of these inequalities,followed by the urban population size.The beneficial measures to eliminat the inter-city inequality of educational resources lie in: Promoting the economic of the cities in underdeveloped areas and the small cities to development,and establishing a reasonable mechanism for population flowing.
