Oriented towards the 12th five-year plan,human-economic geography is facing new opportunities and challenges.On this moment,human-economic geographers from major universities and institutions in China come together discussing the route-map for regional scientific and technological development,proposing the strategic considerations of human-economic geography in the future,and giving suggestion to human-economic geography how to serving the country,local and sector demands during the 12th five-year plan.Human-economic geography should put man-land relationship dynamicsas the theoretical system directions and the national demands and international trends as the discipline development policy.Moreover,Human-economic geography should enhance cross-disciplinary construction and innovative research methods.In the end,human-economic geography should play a strategic advisory role for national major projects and submit some advisory research and consulting reports.Seizing the opportunity,human-economic geographers will make human-economic geography board on a new level.
