ANALYSIS OF REGIONAL INEQUALITY IN JIANGSU PROVINCE BY MULTI-TARGET MEASURE BASED ON THEIL INDEX
用泰尔指数分析江苏省1978-2004年人均GDP、人均农业产值、城乡居民人均储蓄存款、社会消费品零售总额四个指标的区域不平等变化，发现除农业产值外其他指标的区域不平等持续扩大。
The measure method of Theil index is suggested to analyze the changes of regional inequality in Jiangsu Province in this article,which chooses four targets that includes per capita GDP,the total value of agricultural output per person,the saving deposit of inhabitant in the city and countryside per person, the total value of retail sales of social commodity from 1978 to 2004.It is showed that regional inequality on these economic indicator total in the Jiangsu Province is changing unceasingly in the paper.The change of the total value of agricultural output per person is gentle,which also has slightly reduced;the change curve of the inhabitant saving deposit in the city and countryside per person shows U shape;both regional inequality of per capita GDP and regional inequality on the total value of social commodity retail sales expand unceasingly.Regional inequality of four targets besides the total value of agricultural output per person among three regions of Jiangsu Province all increase unceasingly,the effects of which on regional inequality in Jiangsu Province are the bigger.In the interiority of three regions,the changes of regional inequality of these four targets are all different.In the interiority of south Jiangsu,the interior regional inequality of these targets besides the total value of agricultural output per person is the smallest and has reduced as compared with the initial stages of the innovation and opening periods.The change of interior inequality in central Jiangsu on these four targets is not obvious.However,in north Jiangsu the interior inequality of these four targets all present the expanded tendency besides the total value of agricultural output per person.Moreover,in north Jiangsu,the changes of regional inequality of these four target besides the total value of agricultural output per person expand unceasingly,and the degree of regional interior inequality is the biggest.
