The basic concepts of PASS (Planning-Attention-Simultaneous-Successive) are presented as an alternative to a global approach to intelligence. In this approach,I fractionate general ability to study major cognitive processes,each of which has a behavioral,cognitive and neuropsychological component,and importantly,a suggested set of assessment measures. The PASS framework can accommodate a broad range of cognitive functions that have applications for education and organizational behavior.
