THE EMPIRICAL STUDY ON THE WIN-WIN COOPERATION OF CONVENTION AND EXHIBITION ECONOMY IN CHENGDU AND CHONGQING

In recent years,cooperation of regional exhibition economy has attracted more and more attention.This paper uses methods of theoretical and empirical analysis to reveal the mutual benefits that come from cooperation of exhibition industry between Chengdu and Chongqing.Firstly,through remolding the Edgeworth Box Diagram which belongs to microeconomics,this paper points out that the cooperation between Chengdu and Chongqing can increase their benefits,in the context that they have different resource superiorities.Then,based on the relevant data of the two cities,this paper establishes an econometric model by using methods of Gray Related Theory,Augmented Dickey-Fuller Unit Root Test,Granger Causality Test and Ordinary Least Squares Estimators.It turns out that cooperation will bring up overflow effects and both sides can achieve a win-win situation.Finally,based on the above conclusions,this paper further discusses the suitable mode of exhibition cooperation between Chengdu and Chongqing,which is called exhibition resources complementary cooperation mode.
