Cross-Discipline Organized Research Units in California University and its Enlighten to Us
研究了加州大学各分校在政府支持下建立跨学科有组织研究单元（ORU）的申请、管理和评估体系，以及其在科研、教学和社会服务中的作用，为我国研究型大学提供借鉴。
Under the support of the government,all sub campuses of California University have established Organized Research Unit(ORU) to support the cross discipline research. California University has formed a system of application,management and evaluation for ORU,and provides operation fee for it. The ORU offers a complementary function with traditional schools and departments,and performances very important roles in scientific research,teaching and social service in all 9 sub campuses. The research type universities in China can learn the experience from ORU of California University in establishing cross discipline research.
