Abstract

This paper first applies location quotation and Gini-coefficient index to measure and evaluate the spatial agglomeration level of manufacturing in Shaanxi Province.And we use the data of 28 sectors of manufacturing from 2006 to 2011 as the sample.We found the sectors of higher industrial agglomeration level are almost resource-depend,and the level of industrial agglomeration in these industries show a downward trend,and the level of agglomeration of the leading industries is not high.In addition the majority manufacturing is mainly concentrated on the center of Xi'an-Guanzhong area Next we analyze the influencing factors of industrial agglomeration by manufacturing panel data model.Research shows that increasing labor,productivity,scale and growth and reducing transport costs can improve the level of industrial agglomeration;There is a negative correlation between policy and industry agglomeration,but the effect of FDI is not obvious.
