In USA,one way to solve the housing problem for low-income families is the community land trust system.Under such a system,community land trust companies or other organizations have the property rights to the land while the house owners have the property rights to the houses and the rights to use the land for a given number of years.Because the house prices don't include the land prices,houses are thus affordable to low-income families.Community land trust,which has the advantages of the recyclables of land resources,non-profit operational model and the objective of promoting community development,can provide some insights for improving economic housing system.
