The Temporal and Spatial Distribution Characteristics of Tourist Flows in Special-Term Based on Different Tourism Purposes——A Case Study of Wuhan City
We sampled tourist flows in special-term and 18 typical scenic spots from Wuhan city as the object of study, using the saturation curve,G index, peak index M,Gini coefficient and imbalance index S,analyzing the temporal and spatial distribution of tourist flows in special-term based on different tourism purposes. The result indicates that:(1)The tourist flows with sightseeing purpose have a uniform distribution in various special terms, and the peak phenomenon bring up by short-term inflation is not obvious. The tourist flows with visiting friends or relatives, business meeting and shopping purposes have a relatively large G index, and the distribution concentration in time is in a high degree, the saturation curve of tourist flow scale and peak coefficient curve is relatively steep, the tourist flows have a substantial growth in short terms, but have a small scale in peacetime. So the tourist flows with these three tourism purposes have a prominent peak phenomenon in special-term.(2) The Gini coefficient of the tourist flows with different purposes in the spatial distribution is all more than 0.8,showing a centralized distribution feature, and the uniformity is low. After further use of the Lorenz curve index,we obtain the imbalance index S=0.4412,it indicates that the tourist flows have an uneven distribution in various scenic spots, and it mainly distributed in eight scenic spots: Yellow Crane Tower,East Lake,Yangtze River Bridge,Hankou Marshland,Wuhan University,Guiyuan temple,Hubei Provincial Museum and Hubu lane.(3) Through comparative analysis of the spatial distribution of tourist flows and Geo-spatial structure of the case scenic spots,we find out that the tourist flows with different purposes may have responses to Geo-spatial structure in spatial distribution, and proposed the specific mode of response.
