DYNAMIC EVOLUTION OF THE REGIONAL DETERMINANTS OF FDI IN CHINA AND ITS SPILLOVER——EMPIRIC STUDY BASED ON SPATIAL PANEL DATA
使用空间面板数据研究中国各省FDI决定因素的动态变化，发现考虑空间效应后传统因素作用减弱，而贸易成本和集聚等新经济地理因素影响显著，且FDI存在正向空间溢出效应。
Although more and more literatures confirm the exist of FDI dependence,Such spatial dependence has been largely ignored by the empirical FDI literatures.This paper applies the latest spatial panel data to Dynamic Evolution of the determinants of FDI in China.When considering spatial effect,We find that:①the estimate result are more robust than those of traditional OLS estimate;②the traditional factors still exist but weaken.However FDI transmission mechanism-such as trade costs、agglomeration-which has been revealed by the news economic geography,has a noticeable effect on FDI;③FDI spatial spillover noticeable effect distribution of FDI.Increased FDI in a province has positive effect on FDI in nearby provinces.
