MEASUREMENT OF THE BORDER EFFECT OF PROVINCIAL BORDER REGIONS:A CASE STUDY OF HUAI-HAI ECONOMIC ZONE
使用Barro和引力模型方法，定量测度1995-2005年淮海经济区的边界效应，识别出融合型与疏远型两类边界，并分析其形成机制。
Huaihai economic zone is a typical provincial border region in China.By using the methods of barro and gravity model,this research makes quantitative measurement of the border effect of Huai-Hai Economic Zone from the year 1995-2005 and reveals two different types: integrated border including borders of Jiangsu and Shandong,Jiangsu and Anhui,Henan and Anhui;estranged border including borders of Shandong and Henan,Shandong and Anhui,Jiangsu and Henan.The mechanism of the border effect includes the obstructing effect of borders,natural and historic foundation,the proposition of the policy of prosperous central China and the confirmation of central position of Xuzhou city.
