Building on insights of interviews with editors of nine leading journals in the fields of management, entrepreneurship, and family business, we provide insights on the editors’ job. We reveal how editors strategically determine and implement a vision for their journal, how they integrate the editing job into their work routines, and what insights they want to share with potential incoming editors.
