Articulated Turbulence: The Effect of Regulatory Agencies on Corporate Responses to Social Change
Does the presence of a regulatory agency affect patterns of corporate response to external change? We argue that a regulatory agency may function as either a buffer against change or an agent of change. Patterns of corporate response likely to occur in each situation are discussed.
