Beyond The Mirror: Some Further Comments on Jaboda's Review of Industrial Relations Research in the Twentieth Century

To recount the developments in industrial relations of the past century, and to do so in just one article, is of course an impossible task. And Jahoda knows this. That is why, as she herself says, the aim ofher paper is only to raise several themes that seem to deserve attention. Therefore, what is interesting is to wonder about the author's choices, given the great variety of possible themes, and reflect on the works she discusses. I will first recapitulate Jahoda's main findings and then contrast them to a few works from an alternative perspective.
