Row-column α-designs

A method of arranging the α-designs of Patterson & Williams (1976) into efficient row-column designs is given. It is shown that such designs possess the property of adjusted orthogonality which has the advantage that the properties of the row-column design can be determined directly from those of the row component and column component designs.
