Bounds for the Confidence Coefficients of Outer and Inner Confidence Intervals for Quantile Intervals

Abstract In this article, bounds for the confidence coefficients of outer and inner confidence intervals for quantile intervals are obtained using properties of convex functions. The bounds obtained here are sharper than the bounds given in Krewski (1976) and Reiss and Ruschendorf (1976).
