Two-Stage Assignment Classification Model Based on an Improved AHPSort II With Heterogeneous Criteria for Location Selection of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

The location selection of charging stations has become the key to the implementation of the popularization of electric vehicles. In this article, we introduce the AHPSort II method into the location selection of the charging station. However, the AHPSort II method does not consider the heterogeneity of the criteria in the location selection of charging stations. In addition, the classification results obtained by the AHPSort II method are unconstrained, which may not meet the location selection requirements. Therefore, this article proposes a two-stage assignment classification model based on the AHPSort II method under the heterogeneous criteria. In the first stage, we utilize the AHPSort II method to reduce pairwise comparisons between the alternatives. At the same time, we investigate the classification process of the heterogeneous criteria and propose a new AHPSort II method with the heterogeneous criteria. In the second stage, a classification adjustment model based on the regret theory is constructed to make the classification results meet the location requirements of charging stations. Compared with the existing methods, the proposed model can present a flexible sorting result by considering the actual demand. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed model is verified by a case study of charging station location selection and comparison analysis.
