Management Practice and Policy: A Guide to Writing for AMP

Recently, the Academy of Management Perspectives (AMP) issued a new mission statement to clarify the type of submissions that constitute an appropriate submission to this journal (AMP, 2023). The new mission statement confirms two important changes to the types of papers AMP will publish. First, AMP will publish papers that contribute to management practice and policy. Second, while AMP used to publish only conceptual papers, we are now interested in both conceptual and empirical papers, provided that they are evidence-based and contribute to our understanding of management practice or policy.
