Intertwined dimensions of private value in the digitalization of higher education
从公共服务逻辑视角,通过学生体验分析高等教育数字化如何影响私人价值,发现价值创造与破坏要素,以及使用价值和情境价值如何交织。
The increasing digitalization of public services impacts organizations and the citizenry alike. In higher education (HE), digital platforms and emergent technologies are transforming traditional in-person teaching. Thus far, most public administration management literature has addressed HE issues using a goods-dominant logic focusing on performance. Hence, our study undertakes the Public Service Logic perspective and delves deep into students’ experiences to understand how the digitalization of HE teaching impacts private value. Our findings show value creation and destruction elements and how value-in-use and in-context are intertwined dimensions based on the interdependencies of public service experiences and outcomes.
