University entrepreneurship education and the emergence of radical and incremental innovation: a regional perspective
基于2015-2023年中国30个省份的面板数据，研究发现竞争型创业教育正向影响区域激进式和渐进式创新，且产学合作、创新人力资本与内部创业起中介作用。
This study investigates how university entrepreneurship education influences the emergence of radical and incremental innovation at the regional level. Based on a panel dataset of 30 Chinese provinces from 2015 to 2023, the empirical results reveal that competition-based entrepreneurship education in China has a positive impact on regional radical and incremental innovation. Meanwhile, university-industry collaborations, innovative human capital, and intrapreneurship play mediating roles in the relationship between entrepreneurship education and regional innovation. Our study extends the existing literature on regional innovation and provides implications to enrich the discussion of entrepreneurship education.
