Dynamic capabilities in entrepreneurship—DyCE: A new domain for theoretical and empirical research

The purpose of this editorial is threefold. First, the framework of dynamic capabilities—DCs, proposed and embedded in the field of management, is recalled and the state-of-the-art of research on it is reconstructed and clarified. Second, the results obtained are questioned in an attempt to apply the framework to entrepreneurship. Appropriate evaluations are performed to pave the way for the concept of dynamic capabilities in entrepreneurship—DyCE. Third, a call is made for future research that can offer new perspectives, reveal new insights, and advance research on DyCE among scholars interested in this new domain.
