Assessing the maturity of supply chain integration in industry 4.0: a context-specific application cycle using a weighted fuzzy rule-based approach
开发了一个考虑工业4.0技术的供应链整合成熟度模型,采用加权模糊规则评估方法,并通过实际应用验证了其有效性和实用性,帮助企业评估和提升内外部协作水平。
The goal of this paper is to develop a novel supply chain integration (SCI) maturity model, which embraces the opportunities given by Industry 4.0 (I4.0) related technologies in its assessment model, a weighted fuzzy rule-based assessment method, and a flexible assessment procedure (cycle) to address the context-specific nature of SCI. The research builds on design science. A confirmatory real-world application tested the model’s consistency and usability. Results reveal that the offered artefact is a robust/practical tool for assessing and guiding organisations in their maturation paths, providing support on how to work tighter together internally and externally with suppliers and customers. The weighted fuzzy rule-based assessment method generated consistent results while dealing with the highly subjective task of assessing SCI maturity in the scope of I4.0. To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this is the first SCI artefact that considers I4.0 opportunities in different implementation levels, along with an assessment procedure for contextualised maturity assessment and guidelines generation.
