The recent World Congress on Whiplash Associated Disorders in Vancouver, British Columbia, under the aegis of the Physical Medicine Research Foundation, brought together health professionals, scientists, engineers and experts in insurance and disability, to share the latest information on whiplash-associated disorders. The congress had three programming streams: auto-engineering and traffic safety, diagnosis and treatment, insurance and disability. This issue of Accident Analysis and Prevention presents highlights from the traffic safety and auto-engineering stream as well as other related papers.
