How Supply Chain Transparency Shapes the Impact of Green Credit on Corporate Digital Responsibility
基于中国A股上市公司2011-2022年面板数据,研究发现绿色信贷能提升企业数字责任表现,而供应链透明度在其中起到非线性中介作用,初期会抑制但后期会促进这种正向影响。
ABSTRACT Drawing on panel data from 4229 firm‐year observations of Chinese A‐share listed companies (2011–2022), this study investigates the relationship between green credit and corporate digital responsibility (CDR), focusing on the mediating role of supply chain transparency (SCT). The findings reveal that green credit significantly enhances CDR performance. Moreover, SCT demonstrates a nonlinear mediating effect: transparency initially imposes compliance and disclosure pressures that suppress the benefits of green credit but subsequently fosters improved alignment between environmental financing and digital responsibility. These findings offer strategic implications for firms and policymakers seeking to integrate sustainable finance, responsible digitalization, and transparent supply chain governance.
