Abstract This article focuses on Mizzou Tutor, an electronic tutorial for use in traditional undergraduate tax classes. It has six corporate chapters, one partnership chapter and one S corporation chapter. Each chapter is divided into lessons, which include an introduction to the topic, an overview of the key points, three to nine multiple choice questions, and a review of the lesson. The tutorial contains a total of 38 lessons and 224 multiple choice questions. The tutorial comes on high density disks. An instructor's manual is also provided which includes a copy of each lesson. The purchaser has permission to copy the disks and manual for student use, provided the student is not charged more than $3.00 per disk or more than ten cents per page. The Mizzou Tutor can be used to reduce coverage of computational material in class. However, it is not meant to replace the textbook or complex homework problems. As the student works through each lesson, the tutor keeps track of time spent reading the introduction, the key points, and the summary. The time spent on answering the multiple choice questions is also recorded. A grade is assigned to each question depending upon the number of attempts required to select the correct answer.
