Hysteresis strategy for a M/M/1 retrial queue with a changeable service rate.

The paper deals with a queueing system of the type M / M /1 with repeated calls and a state-dependent service rate in which the server is functioning under a hysteresis strategy. The existence condition and the formulae for ergodic distribution of the number of calls in the system are obtained.
